The demo probably needs to be heavily patched up; the 7500 support was originally only for the smaller screen. > If I knew for sure that Xig would work in 1400x1050 (and 24 or 32 bit), > I certainly would consider it. I (ab)use my 7500 on a daily basis; I've been running it since before they officially supported the large screen (by hacking their configs directly). I don't use 24-bit mode though, since 16-bit mode is somewhat faster (xengine, a terrible benchmark, runs about twice as fast), but it does work just fine (I just tested it to be sure 8). -- \\ Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. \\ Mike Smith \\ Tell him he should learn how to fish himself, \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ and he'll hate you for a lifetime. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
