Which is *REALLY* quite sad that *ANYBODY* would run Linux as any kind of network anything.. We've installed it here several times (don't ask why) over the past two years, and every time, FreeBSD BLEW IT AWAY! We installed the last version of Linux here recently as a T1 router... Ping times of 10.4ms - 20.2ms, installed FreeBSD (same exact hardware using pull-out hard-drives) and got 7.5ms - 10.5ms... And that's only part of it! -- Rob === _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ _/_/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/ _/ _/ _/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/_/_/ _/ _/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/ Innovative Data Services Serving South-Eastern Michigan Internet Service Provider / Hardware Sales / Consulting Services Voice: (810)855-0404 / Fax: (810)855-3268 / Web: http://www.id.net
