Greetings,

I've just compiled the color-xterm port to FreeBSD and have some problems
with it. The colour works fine, of course, except that the function key
defs appear not to work so well. In particular, I've found that the keypad
and grey 'Home' and 'End' keys do not have the same values as in the
standard xterm (from XFree86 3.1.2G, if that matters).

I've scanned the patched xterm sources and can't see where the variance
might arise, and wondered instead if it is perhaps a bug with this
particular port.

Incidently, the (non-sun) sequences that seem to be in error are:

Home ^[[ standard xterm returns ^[[H
End ^[[ ^[[F

These look suspiciously truncated.

Has anyone else seen this? Is it a compiler problem, or perhaps a problem
with compiling color_xterm with the 3.1.2G development kit? I'm using gcc
2.6.3 from the 2.2-CURRENT (dated a week or so ago).

Thanks in advance for any help.

PS: Incidently, are there any decent xterm color-enabled replacements
other than color_xterm? I used something called nxterm under RedHat Linux,
but I can't seem to find a source for that on the 'net.
