Not everybody in the world has 24/7 computer with direct connect to
Internet. There are at least 3 reasons:

1) Too noisy. Not everyone has big house
2) Too expensive. I pay for Ethernet based connection $30, but it is not
 techicaly possible in every Russian house.
3) Some other reason :-)
