FYI, I have a Gigabyte GA486-AMS. It has been rock solid with 2.1.0-RELEASE and AHA-2940 using both AMD DX4-120 and AMD 5x86-133 with L1 and L2 write back enabled. I had to upgrade to the latest BIOS to get support for the 5x86. I don't know whether this meets Rod's criteria for a _good_ board, but it works well for me. iain
