On the Palm side I'm using ptelnet (http://netpage.em.com.br/mmand/ptelnet.htm) in serial mode. I finally got it to work but on the FreeBSD side I had to enable the getty on cuaa1 instead of ttyd1. My /etc/ttys file now looks like this: cuaa1 "/usr/libexec/getty std.9600" dialup on secure When I ran the getty on ttyd1 I wasn't able to get a login prompt. Can someone tell me why why I have to use cuaa1 in this case? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
