FreeBSD dell 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #1: Fri Apr 29 21:56:38 PDT 2005 root@dell:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/dell i386

>Description:
The 001vmware.sh file does not provide any value for "networking" on an SMP machine, regardless of network information provided in the configuration screen (same result regardless of input).

This causes a "[: -eq: unexpected operator" syntax error from 001vmware.sh when run.
>How-To-Repeat:
"make install" in the VMware3 ports directory followed by "sh /usr/local/rc.d/001vmware.sh start" seems pretty reliable.
>Fix:
The ugly workaround is obvious (edit the script), a real fix is unknown.

Clearly, the @@NETWORKING@@ tag in files/001vmware.sh is replaced with an empty string -yet Makefile.inc.net has the correct contents generated by the "dialog" run.
