A few days ago i ran into the bug reported the first time in https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=131876 some 8 year ago. The bug is still open, but I doubt that Robert Watson statement from 8 year ago that he just spend some time in the UNIX domain socket code is still accurate. Depending on his mail setup there is a good chance the mail got sorted in the 8 year old thread. Is there someone familiar with the file descriptor passing code in the kernel willing to look at the bug report? -- Jan Bramkamp
