There have been some problem reports with the new miibus fxp friver in
-stable.  I am currently not tracking -stable, so I can't tell you from
personal experience.  My advice would be to check the freebsd-stable
archives first to see if that answers your question.  If not, send email
to freebsd-stable, and ask them.
