We use the solid server from solid information technology
(http://www.solidtech.com)
It's a good sql server that comes with a 32 bit ODBC driver,
so you'll be able to use all window clients that support odbc.

The only drawback is that they only have linux binaries, no
FreeBSD binaries. But we haven't had any problems so far,
running the database.
