Awsome! :-) Long time ago I did MIDI Modular Controller on MCS51 MCU :-)

I had to use audio card MIDI port or external USB-MIDI converter.
Nowadays it is possible to create your own MIDI interface with any MCU
that has USB Device inside :-) MIDI can also be used to control
external equipment :-)
