It usually takes several attemps to start it ( it appears to start, i.e. it shows up as idle with ps(1) but no window appears). When I eventually get it started it doesn't "remember" what it's already d/l'd so it d/l's all the headers in each newsgroup every time I run it. It's ability to sort partial and complete multi-parts, identify binaries, d/l and de-code look really impressive but the way it's running at the moment it's a sack of crap. Have you had similar problems? and if so, how did you resolve them? One message it shows when I run it is "Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library". Even starting it with ``--debug'' gives no clues and it doesn't appear to write any messages/errors anywhere. > If you are only command line capable then the venerable standby is Tin.
