If you disable APM, it should go away. I have > four > AMD processors here, and they all showed it with APM enabled. I got the same results on a Celeron @ 500MHZ on a ThinkPad A20m Laptop. I had installed XFree86-4.1 and KDE2. When I was changing my default fixed width font, XFree would crash and I would be back at the console with lots of messages like "microuptime went backwards" and then how much it went backwards. This happened also with XFree 4.0.3 and on two fresh installs. I don't remember if it had apm enabled, I think it did. Sorry I cannot give more details, but that machine right now is with IBM because of hard disk problems. > > Greg > -- > When replying to this message, please copy the original recipients. > If you don't, I may ignore the reply. > For more information, see http://www.lemis.com/questions.html > See complete headers for address and phone numbers > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message Mario Doria __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
