>Description:
The GENERIC kernel should include atapicam.
This is needed to burn DVDs.

Given the price difference between tape drives and DVD drives, I suspect that
most SOHO sites use DVDs for backups rather than tape. Including atapicam
would save these sites from having to build a custom kernel to do backups.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to burn a DVD using a GENERIC kernel.

>Fix:
Add the line

device atapicam # needed to burn dvd

to the GENERIC config file of applicable machines.
Feel free to improve the comment. :-)
