Now a question about ipop3d's logging... it logs everything to syslog using the LOG_MAIL facility. I know I can recompile it to log to say LOG_LOCAL2, but I was wondering if there is someway to exclude it using syslog? Right now the relevant line is: mail.* /var/log/maillog I can match ipop3d using the program name "ipop3ds", but it's not clear how I can use it to exclude it from matching the above. Any ideas? Or should I just recompile it?
