FreeBSD, and to that effect XFree86, support AGP cards. Most AGP cards act just like their PCI counterparts. FreeBSD couldn't care less as long as your display card supports text mode. XFree86 is the one you really want to watch for; see http://www.xfree86.org/ for info.
