FreeBSD 4.3 wasn't a great release for my vaio, lots of things worked but others failed. Upgrade to 4.x-stable, it will fix your issues with the fxp networking. I don't know when this was fixed but when I upgraded to 4.x-stable on June 5th the network worked with PnP OS "ON" or "OFF". I have decided that I can have either usb or pccard. With PnP OS "ON", pccard works as advertised, but usb(uhci0) fails to load. With PnP OS "OFF", usb works reasonably well, but pccard interrupts hang my vaio. henry Juriy Goloveshkin wrote: > > On Sun, Jun 17, 2001 at 10:38:17PM +0900, CHOI Junho wrote: > > JG> about sound: on my vaio z505hs it works only with 'pnp os disable'. > > Me, too.
