Yes, I did:

> ld -V
GNU ld version 2.10-anoncvs-20000512 (with BFD 2.10-anoncvs-20000512)
  Supported emulations:
   elf_i386

> ld -V
GNU ld version 2.10.0 (with BFD 2.10.0)
  Supported emulations:
   elf_i386
