I have installe inn-stable using ports and I have /usr/local/etc/rc.d/innd.sh created. Trying /usr/local/etc/rc.d/innd.sh start does not display anything! After reading the script, i did: su -m news -c "touch /usr/local/news/db/history.pag" then #/usr/local/etc/rc.d/innd.sh This account is currently not available. user news is declared news:*:8:8::0:0:News Subsystem:/:/sbin/nologin I have to add '-m' option to su in order to make it work. Then I read in my logs: inndstart: ran by UID 0, who isn't news(8) What is wrong on my news server?
