Yeah; I know that lots of these are from the past when people were doing PowerPC builds from time to time. FreeBSD got much better on it in recent years and so did GCC, thus many of them are no longer actually true. I'm in the process of cleaning the tree from those (and trying to fix the broken ports when they're indeed broken). I'd like to do the same for sparc64 as well; luckily we have couple of those machines in the cluster. ./danfe
