  Lots of people KNOW that a version of Oracle exists for FreeBSD.  Mainly
from when Oracle employees come on the list and talk about it.  It's
performance is not that great at this point.  As far as I know nothing has
been doing with it for a while.

  If you want to talk about rumours: one rumour has FreeBSD being used for
the core os for the Oracle 8i appliance (basically a black-box Oracle 8i 
server).
