Zabbix_Server port maintainer, Been having problems with zabbix_server startup after reboot. It was trying to latch onto mysql too early before mysql was completely initialized. I've found a workaround using the REQUIRE: and making mysql start first, and putting many other services in the require even though they aren't to push back the Zabbix startup long enough for mysql to finish coming up. After getting this to work, a freebsd.org moderator recommended I forward this information to the Zabbix port maintainer for review. Here is the thread for reference: http://forums.freebsd.org/showthread.php?p=21956#post21956 Thanks, Chris Dishman Manager of Information Technology Buy for Less 2129 W.
