	Brian,

	Please refrain from top-posting, it's very easy to lose the context of the
reply that way.

	As to the infamous "Click o'death", that wouldn't cause the drive to not
show up, it would simply render the media nearly useless and subject the
user of the machine to the wonderful tones supplied by our friends at
Iomega.

	David,

	Before doing anything, make sure your cables are okay and that the drive is
powered.  Make sure it shows up during the machine's POST/Boot sequence.

	Also, check to make sure that the dmesg entry for the controller it's
attached to is showing up.
