Did you follow "Standard" installation?
did your installation program run fine?
Did you get to "Congratulations!" message?
How did you partition your 60GB (?) disk?
Did you choose auto (A) partitioning scheme?

can you post dmesg output when you boot from your FreeBSD 7.2 DVD?
