No, the point was that no-one in that URL pieced together that "the crash occurs only when I have nvidia loaded" until a few days ago, so it's not supportive of the original claim. i.e. since no-one even figured out nvidia was relevant, the closed-source nature of the nvidia driver isn't relevant either. Anyway, someone else suggested they did take a few months to deal with the problem once reported by someone else (but not nearly 2 years as originally claimed), so I'll give that the benefit of doubt.
