This fix was intended - as Juli said - as a bare minimum approach until sysinstall/libgeom happens. Using GEOM would fix a lot of problems with sysinstall. I started poking at it a little while ago, but it's not going to be a minor change, certainly not something that is going to make it in anytime soon. -- randi
