To boot the network installation you boot using the kern.flp. After a while,
you will be asked to insert the mfsroot.flp. If that finishes too, you will
be asked to configure the kernel (is that what you mean?). Go into visual
configuration and switch off anything that causes conflicts and which you
don't need (basically, drivers for hardware you don't have). After that,
you'll go into the visual installation program and you're off.

P.s.: I'm not sure what the policy on this list is, but switching from
HTML-mail to plain text mail will save a few people some headaches and get
you more "coverage", as not everyone is capable of reading HTML-mail.
