 * where should the port live? it's a network simulator so for me
 * emulators seems the more appropiate. There's also a companion program
 * called nam (network animator) which animates packets as they travel
 * over the network. where should nam go? 

Both in net please.  Emulators is for emulators of other OSes (as you
can see in ports/emulators/pkg/COMMENT). :)
