Ahh! Should have looked in periodic.conf before complaining :)

Thanks for the info.

The mail/postfix port has this in pkg-message which may be helpful:

---
Also, you may wish to disable some Sendmail-specific daily maintenance
routines in your /etc/periodic.conf file:

daily_status_mail_rejects_enable="NO"

daily_status_include_submit_mailq="NO"
daily_submit_queuerun="NO"

Subject: Daily run output (cron) and non sendmail servers

Hello,

	I have recently cvsuped to RELENG_4_6, and noticed the next day
that
sendmail specific mailq reporting options have been added to the daily
cron
job. This does not work for people that may be using other servers. In
my
case that is postfix.

Mail in local queue:
Mail queue is empty

Mail in submit queue:
mailq: illegal option -- A
mailq: fatal: usage: mailq [options]

Is it possible to remove the 'local submit queue' report when
sendmail_enable="NONE" in rc.conf ?

Thanks.
