Go to the manufacturer's website of your hard drive. They will have a little program to wipe out your specific hard drive. You should down load it to a floppy disk. It uses the old operating system --DOS. Boot up your computer from the floppy drive and you will then be in the program. It will ask if you want to write all zeros to the hard drive. Say "yes". The program will then write zeros to every byte on your hard drive. You will end up with a virgin drive.
