Please join us. Why not show up to the Unix Unanimous meeting in Toronto instead? There is one coming up this Wednesday, Oct 9 (we gather every second Wednesday of the month). The regular participants are pretty hard-core UNIX syadmins and developers. You'll find the announcements in tor.general, ont.events and can.usrgroup: UNIX UNANIMOUS MEETING - 9TH OCTOBER 1996 The next meeting of Unix Unanimous will be held at 6:45 pm on Wednesday 9th October 1996, in room LP 266 of the DL Pratt Building, 6 Kings College Road, on the University of Toronto campus. Unix Unanimous is an informal gathering of people interested in Unix and related topics. There are no fees or membership requirements, and the meeting is open to all. Participants typically include Unix professionals, students, and hobbyists. This message will be repeated on the Monday before the meeting, if there are any items for the agenda, then email me before than. Special Announcements: This is a relativly new location. A map of the area can be found at http://www.drink.com/uu, where this message is repeated, and will always contain the correct location and time of the next meeting. -- Brian Tao (BT300, taob@io.org, taob@ican.net) Senior Systems and Network Administrator, Internet Canada Corp.
