Best memory is eponym.abdn1.md.home.com at 10.2.2.10 which is on Comcasts cable modem through a LRP firewall with a NATed address. >Description: Yahoo has obsoleted the protocol used by everybuddy instant messenger distributed with FreeBSD 4.1. If a Yahoo handle/password is entered then everybuddy becomes unuseable because attempts to connect to Yahoo repetitively display a message from Yahoo saying that the messenger client is obsolete and that the new one should be downloaded. There doesn't seem to be enough information, especially from NEC, to install Yahoo's FreeBSD messenger client. >How-To-Repeat: Start everybuddy. Enter a new Yahoo account (handle) and password and attempt to connect to Yahoo. >Fix: If the Yahoo handle is disabled then everybuddy is usuable elsewhere. Otherwise I know of no fix. >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
