The point of doing bugs better is to establish and maintain a relationship with the submitter. The unidirectional send-pr.sh interface is awful for that. A transition plan should include: * converting the gnats database * capturing legacy submissions arriving from existing send-pr installations. Hopefully these will die out over time. * hunting down and removing send-pr.sh with extreme prejudice. (possibly replacing it with a stub that gives a pointer to bugzilla) On the exceedingly remote chance that somebody genuinely can't/won't access an HTTP link in 2012+ there's always the option of having them email one of the lists. -- Peter Wemm - peter@wemm.org; peter@FreeBSD.org; peter@yahoo-inc.com; KI6FJV "All of this is for nothing if we don't go to the stars" - JMS/B5 "If Java had true garbage collection, most programs would delete themselves upon execution." -- Robert Sewell
