I just installed FBSD and I am getting console messages that I am not familiar with. The following message appears at the console when I log in at ttyv1 or when I rlogin to the server. Oct 20 23:01:07 myhost inetd[2317]: login_getclass: unknown class 'root' This message appears for both successful and unsuccessful logins. Also, sometimes when i rlogin the server stops the login process (or seems to stop it) as it takes up to a minute or two the complete the login (sometimes it does not complete at all). Any subsequent login has the same effect. I have to reboot the server in order to rlogin to the server again. Then it seems to work for about a day or so and starts to do this again. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? thanks in advance td
