Hmm, this is a VF interface.  I know that VF adapters have a different set =
of=20
stats than all the other e1000 adapters.  Perhaps that is related?  Maybe m=
ake=20
the call to e1000_clear_hw_cntrs_base_generic() in igb_init_locked()
conditional on 'if (adapter->hw.mac.type !=3D e1000_vfadapt)'?
