In fact I'd like to see a category, setups (or whatever), "themes" if you must, with a selection of looks (including "traditional console"). I can't agree with KDE as I use Window Maker and don't want to see it left out in the cold (combined with Login.app it makes a FreeBSD box look very pretty indeed, just needs a login panel graphic). If there was a set of different "themes" (as packages remember) something like sysinstall could offer a menu to these people to let them pick a look - (special case existing package install menu).
