:But did you know that scrap smelters have Geigercounters on their
:incoming material? I am not kidding, it happens each year a few
:times that radioactive material is improperly disposed of and ends
:in the scrap metal circuit.

    Trash disposal land fills do too, and they get hits all the time from
    improperly disposed-of medical devices.
