This is the first snapshot to include the recently committed support
for the Compaq XP1000 and other DEC_ST6600 family machines. If you
have an XP1000 (or DS20 or DS10 or DP264) that you've been itching to
try FreeBSD on, give this snapshot a whirl. The only DEC_ST6600
platform I that have access to is the xp1000, so I'd appreciate hearing
from owners of other ST6600 boxes (DS20, DS10 or DP264) who try this.

Also, XFree86 requires a few patches that are still up in the air.
Contact me to obtain them before attempting to run X on one of these
boxes.

Cheers,

Drew
