I don't run freebsd on RPi but with plan9 on it I get about 3.8MB/s. (which is a lot more than 607Mbit/s) and 454 µs ping latency from a freebsd machine. [It is running @ 800Mhz, with the default clock rate (700Mhz?) your numbers will be a bit worse] > What about Beaglebone black?
