Unfortunately an extended power outage ended it, but we had a machine
here that was well over 600 days.  And I still have never lost a
production machine to a FreeBSD crash.  In what must be over 25
machine-years of administering them.

Meanwhile I've watched those around me with proprietary operating
systems lose everything.. in one case, running a demo program in
Visual Foxpro caused a colleague's Windows 98 system to crash and
never boot again.

Now it's been about two months since the power outage..
