Has anyone run FreeBSD on the Sony SRX77 (called the SRX7 outside the
US)? I searched the net and can only find hints of Linux and X11
possibly on the SRX7, but all references are in Japanese. Apparently
the SRX7 and the SRX77 are the same basic machine.

800Mhz Pent. III with power saving features.
128Mb mem.
20Gb disk
builtin 802.11b
builtin 10/100 Ethernet
6 hour battery time standard
10-12 hour battery time w/ extended battery
~$1500

I also wonder about the APM and suspend/hibernate capability.

I'm tempted...

Any info. would be greatly appreciated.

/raj
