cp: /home/rwatson/.Xauthority: Stale NFS file handle I just got this error message while copying my .Xauthority file to another user's home directory. I was root at the time, and the cp failed. I guess this is a standard error, but failing a cp seems a little extreme, as it copied fine a second later. Does this message mean anything in particular that I should know about?
