The problem is that the box comes up with a default route pointing to itself, so the rc code fails when the time come to install the *right* default route. I've looked at the dhcpd conf stuff and I do have the "option routers" pointing to the right place in the appropriate subnet stanza. This information does not seem to be getting to the booting client, however. When the kernel boots, it says the Gateway IP address is 0.0.0.0 . What am I missing? Thanks...
