I wish you would have deprecated all this garbage pnet stuff instead.  I
asked Sylvio too (no response) and eadler was going to follow up (but he
didn't).

The pnet* ports are very low quality (doesn't meet what I consider port
standard are) and I can't imagine anyone actually uses them.

I'd like to see them fast-tracked to deletion.
