While the hang occured there was X11 running and mutt was in the middle of saving its mailfile (it was at 99%) and stopped responding. I killed mutt (which worked!) and reran it, closed it, ran tin and then everything hung completely. Strangely enough X continued working (things like mouse pointer, moving windows etc) but I couldn't open or close xterms. Logging in by telnet or on serial console was also impossible. After a few minutes I decided I had to do a hard reset. So I guess some problems still remain. Regards, Dave Boers. P.S.
