Dear HELP people,

I'm a green-pea when it comes to "Unix" but.. here goes
I have FREEBSD:
FreeBSD/i386 (#hostname) (ttyv1)
ver 3.0=20

Installed on pent 200 MMX 48 Meg RAM, 3.2 gig HDD, etc

I installed the ports off the CD. Perhaps I am simply re-installing the =
application.
The problem I have is, I don't know how to execute a program. I also =
can't figure out how to read data off devices like the floppy drive or =
CD-drive. I don't have X-windows and don't have an easy way to put it on =
the machine right now.

When I try to install a port like this:

If you tried this yourself, you may well have got something like this at =
the start:-

# make install
>> ElectricFence-2.0.5.tar.gz doesn't seem to exist on this system.
>> Attempting to fetch from =
ftp://ftp.doc.ic.ac.uk/Mirrors/sunsite.unc.edu/pub/Linux/devel/lang/c/.
Stop.*** Error code 1Thank you for your helpNoel
