NOTHING. usr robotics couriers and telebit high end modems are great especially if you have them at both ends. dial up, sync up, and you almost cant knock them offline. inject the right frequencies and the hangup, but otherwise data flows. it will be slow if the line is degradated but it flows. improve line quality and data flow increased immediately.
