I am trying to install bsd on a Texas Inst. laptop TravelMate 4000M. I have at hand a `D-Link PCMCIA Ethernet credit card model DE-650' instead of the IBM PCMCIA Ethernet card supported by 2.0. It seems the ze driver could be easily extended if I had a knowledge of the memory mapping, particularly the offset to read the ethernet address. Any pointer wellcome, thanks.
