    I was musing to myself about setting up some FreeBSD X terminals
in our library with multi-tray CD-ROM drives and have some sort of
search engine written.  Of course, users would also be able to use
Netscape and telnet to access other databases around the world.  The
big disadvantage is that DOS/Windows machines already have a giant
head start in terms of front-ends for accessing proprietary database
CD-ROM's.  :(

    Great, thanks very much!  I've found the answer to one of the
questions I posted (as I suspected).  I'd love to have all these
messages tucked away on a CD-ROM or two for reference.
