The following reply was made to PR ports/161522; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Heino Tiedemann <rotkap@gmx.de> To: bug-followup@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/161522: www/seamonkey 2.4.1 build error Date: Sat, 15 Oct 2011 08:56:46 +0200 Okay, now i see it - there are knobs without a sense: [ ] MAILNEWS [ ] COMPOSER [ ] LDAP result: error (see above) [ ] MAILNEWS [ ] COMPOSER [X] LDAP result: error (see above) [X] MAILNEWS [ ] COMPOSER [ ] LDAP result: Message: "Port is broken" [X] MAILNEWS [ ] COMPOSER [X] LDAP result: it builds, but there is no usable mailclient. This is "browser only" There are no shortcuts in the browser window (left side / bottom) to open the mailclient. If you open the mailclient (e.g. via mailto) then you cannot type/send/receive mails. It needs the composer. [X] MAILNEWS [X] COMPOSER [X] LDAP result: perfect conclusion: that three knobs have no sense, because you have to set them all to ON (or compile wihe unusable mailclient for browser only). Heino
